This festival, rich in colour and light, transforms the charming grounds of the Château d’Aubiry in Céret into a magical tableau, open to all ages, for an exceptional event. The five-hectare park of the Château d’Aubiry, which has hosted a variety of cultural events including “Cerise sur le Château“ and “Les Déferlantes 2022″, is the setting for the Festival des Lanternes, this year dedicated to the Splendours of China.
The Lantern Festival is a spectacular celebration featuring more than 2,600 traditional silk lanterns in 40 light displays. These works represent traditional and contemporary motifs from Chinese culture, offering a unique visual journey through Chinese culture and legends.
